Overlooked (this thread is waaayyyy down in the mailfolder) ;) 
Seriously, I'd like to have at least someone use this, and than add the 
following features:
1. Support for */CVS/* files
2. Add a checkbox to the upload interface in order to make this 
configurable (or is it preferred to have a config var in localconf or 
elsewhere?)

I'm a bit reluctant to patch the core with untested code, so I'd like to 
  have the changes tested before, than I'll be glad to submit a patch.
