How should a merge be achived.

If the record is locked and another user modifies the Content Element via the normal
T3 BE (he will see the lock icon - but he must not respect it) and then different
modified data gets received from the GUI: Should it be the way that the "latest"
change wins and overwrittes all other changes or is there any better solution in
your mind ?
