[Typo3-dev] ftp-client project description

Hi all,

I'm writing concerning the Products Description Paper of the Ftp-Client
on http://typo3.org/development/projects/ftp-client/.

Is there already some work in progress? We are interested in such a
feature in typo3. I know typo3 since a year and I'm programming
java/swing since 4 years. I certainly could help building such an
ftp-client. 
What can I do to get things moving on this project?
