Hi,
I just checked the license of prototype again:
it is the


Expat License.http://www.jclark.com/xml/copying.txt
        
        This is a simple, permissive non-copyleft free software license,
        compatible with the GNU GPL. It is sometimes ambiguously
        referred to as the MIT License.
        
        
So I don't see any issue including this in TYPO3, as it is compatible
with the GPL. Do you see this differently?
