[Typo3-dev] simple registration form

Hi, everybody,

I need to create a multi-step wizard form in FE, which gathers some data and 
then on final page can store all data in a table. I understand that this 
should work with session handling but cannot catch how all things can fit 
together.
Can anybody give me a hint in what exisiting extension can I find a simple 
concept fo such plugin?
