[Typo3-dev] Database schema in xml?

Hi,

I've done a greater search in the net for a dtd or xml schema that lets 
you use xml for describing the database layout.
Using xml in this step gives us an abstraction layer by describing the 
database and is a way to easily store a definition for multiple database 
engines as the final sql dialect the each target database uses could be 
outsourced to an xslt filter.

What do you think?

A good reference could be Apache Torque.
