[Typo3-dev] Templavoila and Markers

Hello, I'm working on a project where I want to include the indexed 
search plugin inside my custom made plugin.  Like you have probably 
guessed I've run into some problems that I would appreciate some 
comments on.

- Is it at all possible to call and get content from the search plugin 
to my extension? I've tried to instantiate the Search plugin. Didn't 
work. I've tried creating static variables inside main() in the search 
plugin, that I then call from myExt. But...
No dice.

- Does anyone have any experience using markers with Templavoila? Where 
do I put the Typoscript that makes the substitution? I've tried the main 
template, the data structure TS, the template object TS. Nothing works.

Any pointers would be very well appreciated.
