You have my support.

Typoscript by example is a very good document but it is dated.
As a short fix before integrating this into TYPO3 coding, we should at least
accumulate these snippets into one easy to access place.

Currently, I for example keep some of my snippets commented in my setup
field so next time I need it I have a commented setup field full of useful
snippets. They save me a lot of remembering.

Perhaps a new document is emerging 'TYPO3 Setup examples'

As a native English speaker I would be happy to help co-author something
like this.
