dev-list should be self-explanatory ;) But I understand what you mean.

hmmm... In my opinion someone could "ask before post" in such a case and 
should not post it in more than one list (e.g. ug-nrw and dev-list in 
this case).

I have the impression, that this discussion comes up quite often, so I 
think a job-newsgroup could help here, what do you think?

my first intension for pointing out the link to the list-rules was 
tapios style and quoting.

"Courtesy - be polite...don't shout, swear, flame or make any derogatory 
comments"
