[Typo3-dev] FE user/grp inconvenience in BE form

Hi!

The FE login mech of TYPO3 assumes that users are in one folder. This is 
more or less true for groups. I'm not sure if it's actually enforced or 
just a convention.

Lately I set up a site with subsites which each have a separate 
collection of FE users and BE groups. In the BE form I see all groups 
(of all folders) which is inconvenient (even more because the list is 
not sorted alphabetically).

Does it make sense to restrict the groups to the current pid? Seems a 
bit hard, but how about make it configurably in page TS?
