Hello Michael,
I have done a short test on my testing server. XP SP2, IIS 5.1, Typo3 3.7,
PHP 4.3.9, MySql 4.0.21
It's imortant to update the extension in the Ext Manager.
If I updated the installation of indexed_search in typo3/ext i couldnt open
the Tools Indexing page. But search in frontend looks to work OK. 5 - 6 search
gave no error.
I then removed the installation from typo3/ext (deleted the files), and copied
the indexed search from 3.8.0beta2.1 to typo3/sysext. Following messages
in Tools Indexing. I have disabled odf tools and so on. I have debugging on.

The search engine in frontend looks as it works as it should. 10 search gave
noe errors, and the search gave predicted result. My implemeting of macina
searchbox had to be reinstalled to work.
I have also used the dev version of indexed_search on two production installations
with no problems.
Hope this give you some help. It looks like the problems with using new indexed_search
on Typo3 3.7 is minor, and can easely be corrected with correct installation.

Erik Svendsen
