a couple of month ago a got the same error when updating to 3.7.0 but only
on one particular server. afair I didn't manage to fix it but the error
disappered when I updated the Server OS.
What I want to say is: this is definetively not a bug in 3.8.0beta1. It
seems to be PHP or PHPcaching related.
