I am Jesús (not Ahmad) although I think Ahmad would be interested on
this post as well :).
Thank you very much for your very interesting post. I will try the
replacement of Freetype and will let you know as soon as I have any result.
I was looking for some algorithms anyway, that can detect and replace
the letters depending on their connection. I've seen only one so far in
PHP and seems it is not very complete.
If you have any script you coded in the past that can do this task,
please let me know or post it here please so I can have a look to it and
check if I can place it on a pre-processing userFunction or something
(unless somebody suggest a better way for font connection).
