Hi everybody,

A couple of users in the German list complained about bad html code
generated by the extension rte_pb_htmlarea. It randomly adds empty lines
with <p>&nbsp;</p>. The problem occurs when using the editor with Mozilla
based browsers. Furthermore it adds an transparent Gifs to each text
document, which does not make a whole lot of sense either.

Do you have any idea/suggestion how to solve these problems? Generally I
think the extension is great and very helpfull. However I think a good RTE
is (besides a workflow engine) one of the last points that separates Typo3
from other (quite expensive) ECMS. That's why I am posting this issue in the
developer list.
