we stopped reviewing extensions at some point, mainly because of three
reasons:

 - there was no way for publishing the review itself on typo3.org, so
people would know *why* the extension got a certain rating
 - reviewing an extension could take up to two days if done properly
 - we had to few people really doing reviews

The current situation is as follows:

 - I am just creating a process description for quick reviews which will
be published at some point. This makes it possible to quickly separate
   the wheat from the chaff.

 - Kasper and I will work on the TER extension in late october. I plan to
integrate a feature for displaying reviews along with its extension.

 - We need ideas for how the review process could be like in the future.
You can imagine that it's a lot of work doing reviews (even quick
reviews) for all extensions. If reviews are important enough for the
community, it will be possible to get some sponsoring for the developers
   doing reviews.

I agree. However it still have to be trustworthy and at least
medium-experienced developers doing such a quick review.

What do you think about a reviewing weekend? We would me for a
Friday-to-Sunday reviewing session together with Kasper, René and whoever
wants to join.
