[Typo3-dev] How to code a multi-language extension like tt_news 2.0?

yeah, i did, but i didnt find anything concerning the backend-view. I can mostly understand the Code for the Frontend-View in class.tx_ttnews.php but there seems to be nothing regarding the backend-list view - especially not that "translate this item"-method. At least I can't find that part. I little help would be great.
