Good idea, though I'd prefer to have a solution that works with other MySQL
versions as well.
Kasper, can you please give me some details about this problem? How much did
you try already?

Fine. If we make this ona a system extension, then the hardcoded templates
could be removed. I like this idea...

I couldn't find this one but YES it should NOT be a system extension because
it's pretty much outdated and still has some bugs.
Do we actually have a really good visitor statistics extension?
I personally like the awstats extension but since it depends on Perl and
because it's still a little buggy, we should not make this a system
extension.
