Great Ingmar! Nize... will test it right away :D
Are the install tool scripts the ONLY place where this occurs?
What about: class.t3lib_sqlparser.php and function parseCREATETABLE?
Which create stmt/functions does extensions require?
I thought of changing parseCREATETABLE with something similar to provide 
backwards compatibility with extensions, but I'm not shure if this is 
the right place to look for everything...
