How did you measure these times? Is it the time being displayed in the
install tool?

I would be happy if someone could create a benchmark kit with something like
- reading various image formats
- reading foreign formats (single page + multi page PDF)
- writing images
- scaling
- combining
- ...

Do you know if the dev version (1.1.2) is faster?
