[Typo3-dev] How to get 'Startingpoint' of a plugin..?

Hello,

I wonder where to look to find the 'startingpoint' of a plugin? I'm
working on a little extension and I want to get the startingpoint of
the current instance of the plugin (instead of just getting the current
page).
