Feel free to join the discussion "[Typo3-project-tt-news] Feature: 
comments" in the quite active tt_news project Newsgroup.
There's talk about combining tt_news and tt_board in some way that news 
articles can be commented.

Just point your Newsreader, e.g. Outlook Express or Mozilla Thunderbird 
to news://news.netfielders.de, refresh the list of available Newsgroups 
and join the group "typo3.projects.tt-news".
