[Typo3-dev] be_groups[groupMods] restricted to 255 chars by js validation limits?

It works fine if I enter them directly into the database, going over the 255
char limit (after changing the field to blob), so it appears it is
definitely just a js issue, either the js coding, or intrinsic limits of js
(I'm very weak on js so can't really assess which).
