You can't overwrite extensions in repository that belong to other users.
If you have suggestions write an email to the author.
When upgrading from ext. repository keep in mind that your modified 
extension will be overwritten by the authors one.
If you want to upload an extension of an extension you have to register 
a new key at typo3.org and upload it as a new one depending on 
tx_blaablaa, the original.
