[Typo3-dev] Feature request: Integrated update function in Typo3

Hi folks!

I always use tt_myself to do the update. Works like a charm ;-)

OK, I get the point. Such a feature would be great, but regarding all 
parameters that have to be kept in mind (extensions and their 
requirements, manual modifications, ...) I conclude that this is 
probably to hard to achieve.

As CVS definitely is the way to go, one might think about putting a 
CVS-update button into the backend.
