Well, I have to admit I never really used the CSS Styler. My
impression is that it only can do as much, as has been configured by
the template designer (the CSS file has to be enriched with
comments). I may be totally wrong here, though. :)

Ah. Ok, it *is* that bad then. I know how you feel, I had a similar
design a while back - nice, but a total horror to do with HTML. Well,
you know how those die-hard print designers are, sometimes.

I know this. Part of my feelings about CSS are in fact caused by this
site ;)
