[Typo3-dev] Template Wrapper in TYPO3 core?

Wouldn't it be possible to implement these wanted features inside the 
template autoparser? Or is it (template autoparser) dead for the matter 
of fact, Since templavoila is out and being actively worked on?

Or am I just completely wrong and this make no sense at all. :-)
