Just to clarify:

There's no "Templavoila/Flexform thing".

- Flexform is the possibilty to have flexible form definitions in
  TYPO3.This gives a lot fo benefits, mainly nested and tabbed forms,
  but also less db-fields and better ways of dynamically adjusting the
  form defintions. This feature is part of the core from 3.6+ and stable.

- TemplaVoila is an extension that replaces the page-module and relies
  on flexforms and other features added to 3.6
