I am not a fancy programmer as you are nor am I an OO-Expert. ;)
I would just generally think it might be a good attitude to be little
more "open minded" and "willing to learn". I bet your programming
evolved over the time a lot, I think I have even heard you say that
yourself. So my suggestion: "let your programming evolve like it always
did". ;)
As I think actually you are very open to ideas and input from others,
just doesn't sound like that in that sentence. ;)

best it can". from practical point of view it has been proven to be very
flexible and easy to adopt, at least for guys like me.
That's the main point imho.
