I would like to be asked first. Some changes are straight forward and I
could even ask people to commit them to CVS themselves.
But other changes - even though they seem simple on the surface - has to
be done with more consideration, with changes to manuals, with changes
to many more scripts than first realized. 
In many cases most of you cannot see the full scope of what a certain
change might cause of problems. Due to my super-overview of the core it
is more likely that I can assess this. 
basically the conclusion is that I should be asked first. I can
relatively easily look at a suggestion and tell if this needs more
consideration or if it is straight forward.


Supplying Unified diffs are always welcome though!

OK, so what does it do?

I have been thinking recently about asking the list here to come up with
suggestions for extensions which should be implemented in the core.
However right now is not a good time for MORE features because I have a
long-enough todo list and I'm desparately trying to get it emptied so
3.6.0 can move closer to us all! So after 3.6.0 is out we might take up
this discussion.
