I tested it on Win XP, all my Browsers (IE6.0.2800, Mozilla 1.3.1 and Opera
7.11)
show the same behaviour. However, if you choose the encoding manually in the
browser,
Mozilla and Opera keep the setting, IE falls back to the server's setting
when you click
to another page.
