As I already wrote, many companies has internal policy to use only
windows-based server's. For example - universities. These
organizations may have many web-sites at one windows server.

This phenomenon I may also call like "mass-hosting".

I did it like you under Win2000 Server with hardlinks.
But it's a "ugly" way. At least for me.
