Hi All,

Suddenly one of my live servers has problem with typo3 and the mysql
database. After some time I can't access my websites.

I watched using "ps -eaf" what was going on on my server and I saw more than
300 !!!!!!! of the same running processes:
mysql 29874 30839 0 14:32 ? 00:00:00
/usr/sbin/mysqld --basedir=/usr --datadir=/var/lib/mysql --user=mysql --pid-file=/
mysql 29889 30839 0 14:33 ? 00:00:00
/usr/sbin/mysqld --basedir=/usr --datadir=/var/lib/mysql --user=mysql --pid-file=/
mysql 29895 30839 0 14:34 ? 00:00:00
/usr/sbin/mysqld --basedir=/usr --datadir=/var/lib/mysql --user=mysql --pid-file=/
mysql 29900 30839 0 14:34 ? 00:00:00
/usr/sbin/mysqld --basedir=/usr --datadir=/var/lib/mysql --user=mysql --pid-file=/
mysql 29901 30839 0 14:34 ? 00:00:00
/usr/sbin/mysqld --basedir=/usr --datadir=/var/lib/mysql --user=mysql --pid-file=/
etc. etc. So I tell you, more than 300!

Anyone know what's going on or what might be the cause of this?

After restarting the mysql daemon I will error messages like:

Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in
/var/lib/typo3/typo3_src-3.8.0/t3lib/class.t3lib_db.php on line 741

line 2612

and

Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in
/var/lib/typo3/typo3_src-3.7.0/t3lib/class.t3lib_db.php on line 723
Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in

line 2402

After repairing the mysql database of each site the site will function
normal again. But after a day or two the same problem starts coming back.

ANYONE an idea? It's driving me nuts as I can't seem to find the cause of
getting al these mysqld daemons started.
