[Typo3-debian] Non-english characters and rtehtmlarea/aspell

Hi

I've got this weird problem with rtehtmlarea. When doing a spellcheck the
popup window show non-english characters wrong.

This screendump shows some danish letters displayed in a wrong way:

Other places the characters displays right, and even the spellchecking is
carried out right.

I don't know the rtehtmlarea well. Is there any server specific settings for
Debian which can cause this?

Does anyone have a working configuration on Debian?
