[TYPO3-asia] mm_forum design & register form

Hell together ,
I have installed mm_forum and I want to change the colour of it. I did few changes in the css-file but the colour is still the same

1) what could be the problem?
2)I am using the refisterform of  mm_forum. I want that if the user register me as admin send them a link per mail to activate the register like in this forum. How can I do it ?
