Hi Bodo,
Hello TYPO3 Asia subscribers,
TYPO3 Community Manager Ben made an announcement to report about our local
community activities to him. I have send our report from Japan to Ben, and
also published it as blog post at http://blog.snowflake.asia/
Please report also your activities in your country to Ben (ben at typo3.org)
so we get more people to know what is going on in Asia. Would be great to
hear how TYPO3 is more and more spread. And I am sure, there are more
activities going on in reality than we actually get to know. So let's speak
about it and get the "TYPO3 Germany" focus a bit more to Asia (and the
Americas of course) ;-)
@Bodo: our report and the photo will also answer the question you asked me.
Even though TYPO3 is used in corporation in Japan, but their staff have not
attended our community events. Hopefully we can involve them and get them
attending too. It's the matter of "free time" and "personal interest vs.
business duty" for which an open source community event is not always in
sync with business interests.
With regards from Tokyo,
Thomas
