Hi again,

@Rebecca: Thx. I will see how to visit you on the way to Malaysia.
@Thomas: how big is your group in japan?
@Hannes: I will consider to visit Beijing soon!

this is a reminder. I am still exploring TYPO3 and open source community
in asia. Any feedback, wether from individuals, companies or user groups
are very welcome. If possible in terms of distance/costs, time and visa
I will consider to meet face2face.

So again the question:

Anyone from southern asia perhaps? What about Malaysia for example?
Singapore is next on my todo list to explore the local IT, open source
and hackerspace scene.

My past steps:

I was in Hong Kong in July/August, then in Shanghai. There I found some
enthusiast of OSS and made some great contacts to rely on the next
months. The last days I was in Quanzhou and even in the Xiamen software
park the open source spirit is hard to find. So it seems some hard work
is awaiting to spread the word and make some followers move. :-D

My next steps:

I will arrive in Hong Kong tommorow (15th) at noon and will attend the
Drupal UG in the evening to show the latest cutting edge TYPO3 features. :-)

On the 17th I will attend the software freedom day in HK with the Linux
UG and also introduce the first meeting of my new founded Magento UG.

Then I have to visit Germany from 20-30th of september. I will stay
about 2 weeks in Hong Kong until 15th october mainly to meet & greet and
continue to setup my branch office of my TYPO3cluster Ltd. company.

Later this year I am looking to have a look at Singapore, because I
friend also is interested to move there to found a business. At
christmas (24th december) I want to see my family back in Germany.
