[TYPO3-asia] TYPO3 in Asia

Hi TYPO3 fans in asia,

I am Bodo from Germany an active member of the TYPO3 community. I use
TYPO3 since 2002, since 2003 I am using it full-time to build websites,
portals and ecommerce. I am looking into to move over from Germany to
Asia. Either Shanghai or Hong Kong or around HK.

Back in my hometown Berlin I am hosting the local User Group which has
two face-to-face meetings each month. It's called BTUG (Berlin TYPO3
User Group) and we are meeting in kind of a hacker space where I have
the key to.

I know TYPO3 is not that popular in the asian region. I will not go into
starting a flame war against other CMS and which is more enterprise
friendly or even better. I am friend with lots of Drupal guys and really
like the TYPO3 attitude "inspire to share". So out of this I want to
contribute some of my time to YOU! I want to learn you, meet you, show
you the latest fance tricks in TYPO3, talk about latest rumours about
developement roadmaps etc. As said I am deeply involved back in Europe
with the open source movement and I knew mostly any important TYPO3 core
developer from the T3BOARD, Developer Days, T3CON, Barcamps etc etc. I
want to bring some of this united spirit to asia and would love to hear
that you like it and appreciate it.

* conference organisation

What is your past experience with TYPO3?
Do you use TYPO3 in your job?
Where are your main problems? What is need to solve it?
What are your interest? Socializing? Tech-talk?

Right now I am in Shanghai (China) until Saturday. Feel free to mail me
