Hi Thomas and all others who might be interested in a T3CON12 Asia
Good to hear from you and sorry for not getting back earlier. We just
returned from Germany.
Yes, we have been thinking to do a first T3CON Asia and therefore wanted
to find out more about its possibilities at the conference.
I can say that the TYPO3 people at the conference were really positive
towards a conference in Asia and we have already talked to potential
speakers/guests. I have talked to the organisers as well to find out
more how it works. In general, there are no concerns to have such an event.
So far, we have communicated that this would be a conference that is
organised by the TYPO3 communities in Asia (Thailand, Cambodia, Japan)
with Cambodia to be the first host country (next year Thailand or Japan :-).
We are thinking end of August 2012. Would this time be suitable for all
of you?
I appreciate all feedback and any kind of help to make the first T3CON11
reality.
However, we will be away for a holiday from tomorrow on, but I will get
back to you end of October.
Also, I would definitely like to hear more about the SkiCamp in Japan,
it sounds like a lot of fun :-)
Cheers,
Rebecca
