[TYPO3-announce] TYPO3 4.6 RC1 released

Dear TYPO3 friends,

Today, the community released the first release candidate of TYPO3 4.6.

More than 300 bugs and tasks have been fixed/done. This release 
candidate release gives you the opportunity to test what we have 
achieved, see the new features in action and report issues you might 
encounter.

A release candidate should be as stable as we want the final release to 
be and, as such, is not considered a developer "snapshot" anymore. The 
final release of 4.6.0 is scheduled for October, 25th 2011.
