[TYPO3-announce] Announcing TYPO3 4.0.1

Dear TYPO3 users,

We are happy to announce that TYPO3 version 4.0.1 is ready for download.

As the version number shows, this is a maintenance release. It contains a 
whole bunch of bugfixes, but no new features. Upgrades from TYPO3 4.0 are 
recommended and there is nothing that will break a working 4.0 installation.

As usual, we have collected a list of the most important/interesting changes 
in this version: http://typo3.org/development/articles/release-notes-401/

Starting with TYPO3 4.0.1, we will release an additional version which 
contains the TYPO3 source (typo3_src) and the site structure (dummy) in a 
single archive: "typo3_src+dummy" is targeted to users who just want to 
install a single instance of TYPO3 without worrying about symlinks etc. 
(Currently this archive is only available in a zipped version.)

Additionally, there are two click&run installers for MacOS X and Windows 
systems who already contain this most recent version of TYPO3. You can find 
them on TYPO3's installers page: http://typo3.org/download/installers/
