Hey boarders and skiers

As you may know are some of us dreaming and 'joking' around for several 
years now to bring the T3BOARD to Canada where Powder is another thing 
than in Europe and where skiing and boarding has a different standing. 
Take the Whistler-Blackcomb resort f.e. where only a few pistes are 
prepared after snowfall. So most of the slopes are just powdered and you 
can rock them the whole day (yes the whole day, cause whistler area is 
just so big!)  without taking the risk of going off-piste. I had the 
chance to really see and feel that in 2009 for 2 weeks.... it's paradise 
I tell you.... but back to the facts and the T3BOARD16.

WE WANT THIS DREAM COME TRUE FOR THE 15TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE T3BOARD FOR 
AN AFFORDABLE PRICE!

So, Steffan and I began research right after T3BOARD15. There was the 
survey where 26 people took part and 12 people told they would be in for 
Canada next year (and I know there are more our there), while 14 would 
be in in Europe. So here's the deal:

I pre-reserved the slot from 20th of February til 29th of February. What 
we have to do now within the next 4 weeks is to pay the house already. 
There are 24 beds and I'm sure we can fill them all. The price for the 
house, including cleaning, damage insurance (will be paid back if you 
behave ;-) ) is about 10'232 (14'230.00 CDN) Euros ONLY. Means that 9 
nights for one person will be abouit 426 euros, this is a crazy price! 
We will try to get a cook for us, I want to have fresh pancakes in the 
morning ;-).... Further I would recommend a Skipass with the conditions 
of 8 out of 9. Means you can drive 8 days at your choice within the 9 
day period, for the following price: 480.00 euros. Perhaps you want to 
take the helicopter one day or go to a snow-mobile tour or see the 
vancouver canucks play worlds best NHL hockey or whatever. Check out the

Besides the amazing experience on the slopes it's also a good chance to 
get in contact with the north american community and I know that some of 
them will be in anyway, so it could be that it's old out very fast. The 
one who pays first his part of the house is in. We could even imagine 
that the other part of the survey and the T3BOARD enthusiasts in general 
who won't be able to join the T3BOARD16CA will do perhaps a cosy 
T3BOARD16EU at the same time, that would be great and I'm thinking on 
that as well, but I cannot organize both of course, but I know people 
who would help out, so please get in contact with me about this.

To sum it up:
This 15th T3BOARD16CA will be an unforgetable experience which you 
should definately NOT miss! Think about it, get in touch with me via 
adrian at typo3.org if you have questions and I'm very glad for a short 
email if you're seriously in. We'll inform you next week about the how 
to proceed with the payment of the house. This is the first thing to to, 
otherwise we loose the reservation.

Here's a rough overall calculation: (without guarantee)

house 9 nights: 426.00 euros
food/cook: 350.00 euros (breakfast, dinner)
flight: 800.00 euros of course depending from where, this is the price 
for a flight from zurich (we'll try to book group flight from frankfurt, 
then it will be cheaper)
skipass: 480.00 euros (8 out of 9 days)

total: 2'056.00 euros
IMPORTANT: This is the calc for european participants, our friends in 
northern america would be much cheaper cause of the flights of course.
