Hello !

Well. I am going to tell you a story about T3 Conference '08. This was my
first conference I attended, and there happened something, which I see as
reason for not further joining any similar events (meaning T3 community
events).

I guess it was on the second day (Saturday) when we went to lunch. I had
some main dish, and a cup of this mushroom soup as starter. But quite a
time after the lunch (about a quarter or an half hour later) I did feel
other than normal. Everything seemed uncommonly familiar (altough I was in
a cold hotel in Berlin), and I felt like there was nothing to do and
everything on this world would be absolutely at its best ... but thats not
reality.

I can not really confirm this, but I tought I noticed a bunch of other
people were also affected by this, laughing a lot and seeming happy with
this situation, other than me.

The feeling itself went away about 2 to 4 hours later. But then I left the
hotel for my hostel and layed down on my bed till the next day. I didn't
stay at the suggested location, cause I could get a place at a cheaper
hostel in Berlin, for which I did some work on ther website already a few
months before the Conference: http://www.wombats-hostels.com/


So my assumption was, that the soup (or probably something else) was
spoiled by someone. And I do not assume the hotel employees would do such a
thing. And to get to the point: I do not want to have any further of those
experiences. So I just will not attend any further community meetings like
before. And there is still a bad taste about this situation in my mind.


I'll hope we see each other again at some other occasion.
