If somebody from Canada says that, that should mean something.

I have to say that I heard people talk about bad weather on Tuesday when 
I checked in for a few minutes and discovered they simply hadn't been 
down in the valley at all!

It's true that there was strong gusts of wind and bad visibility around 
the hostel through most of Tuesday after 11:00, but once you got past 
the first natural wind barrier, visibility was not a problem and the 
snow just perfect.

I am sure it will always be like that in what looks like bad weather up 
at the hostel, so that the slopes below and opposite that have some wind 
protection will be good to go all the time.

What's more is that much earlier in the year you'll have the same winds, 
but it's going to be much colder and less snow. It will also be a lot 
more people on the slopes. Monday was virtually empty!

All in all, I believe going two weeks earlier should accomodate anyones 
Golf ambitions (did I just type that? Pheuw!) and will still allow for 
respectable snow, but might have a few more people.
