Hi everybody, hi Kasper,

First off: thanks for starting the feedback collection. I agree on all
accounts.

I think the perfect accomodation situation was not with Noichl in Aurach,
east of Kitzbühel, but with the Niederstrasser Hof in Oberndorf, west of
Kitzbühel:

Quote from back then:

> Niederstrasserhof in Oberndorf, 6km from Kitzbühel
> Termin: 02.01.2005 – 09.01.2005
>
> Price half board/seven nights: 245,-- Euros
>
> The lodge has 100 Beds

That price included food, so it was decidedly cheaper than this year, but it
was also not as cosy as the appartments this year.

You were mostly in the hospital that year, so you might not have too many
positive memories of that instance of the snowboard tour.

The big plus was the meeting room/sports hall in the house. Andreas Noichls
cellar was just too small in comparison and also the food was better at
Niederstrasser Hof.

Anyway, for Laax we have two options: one is on the hill at nearly 2200
meters with accomodation of well more than 120 people. However, there will
be no externals and no nightlife experience in the village, because the
lift closes down at 16.00 and extra rides are very pricey.
Alternatively we can check into the rider's palace, a hotel down in Laax,
but then will have to organize dinner and a meeting room elsewhere, just as
this year.

Please also take into account, that sleeping at 2200 m of altitude will not
be very pleasant for most participants.

Of course we can always decide to return to any of our previous locations,
however Kitz would have meant hardly any snow at all this winter.

And then there is still Canada waiting...

Cheers

Daniel
