Hi Georg,

I think what people are trying to say is that the distance should not  
be your main issue. People have been coming from all over europe and  
traveling a good deal more than 1000 km, and to them (and me) it  
might sound a bit spoiled that you see it as an impossible task.

If you really want to go, there is a lot of ways to get there - try  
asking on the TUGA mailinglist if there are anyone with a spare seat  
in there car.
