I must recommend the alpine weather forecast from innsbruck:
http://www.alpenverein.de/template_loader.php?tplpage_id=115
Ostalpen:
weiterhin sonnig. Die Entwicklung für Donnerstag ist ungewiß.
In english: more snow tomorrow and until Tuesday afternoon with strong winds
from the north. That means low visibility and powder (if any) most prbably
only on the south facing decents, like Pengelstein and some parts of Paß
Thurn. There is a sweet but steep and black-diamond rated descent from
steinkogel down to bärenbach, which is my best bet for an epic first run of
the season.
Still probably not very good conditions and, like last year, every minute
counts in the morning, because they might close the lifts facing north (like
hahnenkamm) after only a few runs due to strong gales.

Better nail a lvs to the local guys with the fine noses.
