Just for your Information: We (Volker Graubaum, Marco Klawon, Ingo 
Schmitt) are currently planing a rewrite of tt_products. Have a look at 
the wiki:

During the tour we are meeting in Hamburg for the next steps, starting 
programming. Maybe we could stay in contact and bring our help from 
Hamburg, so that thinks won't be done twice...
