Hi folks,
Ulrich Wayszcak, a contact of JH just called me. He has made the following
proposal:
He is part of a network of music producers that could supply us with lots of
songs including several bigger names in the field, if we could take over
creating and providing a download-shop for the music.
The money would go to tsunami aid organisations. Ideally the buyer should be
able to decide and choose an organisation that will receive the money. That
way the shop could be operational for a longer perspective to benefit other.
Additionally this shop could of course sell everything that is digital.
Why not sell extensions for a good cause, or templates, or presentation
material or photographs, you name it. Imagine this like some sort of ebay
for good causes.
Ulrich has contacts with german TV, we all know people from the press and we
could also make banners on all of our individual websites.
Basically this means we need to create a shop based on the DAM,
template-programming, design, user/group administration, performance
optimisation and lots of communication.
To me this seems like something we can actually achieve, it is something we
have enough knowledge about (everyone has been shopping online).
On the other hand we have some more parts of the snowboard tour that will be
more like a sprint than a conference. Probably not a bad thing either.
What do you think?
Cheers,
Daniel
