Hi folks,
Just a little update on how things should work on Monday.
Please show up from 15:00 onwards (not earlier).
I know you all want to run for you favourite room size, but the rooms need
to be cleaned and before that no one can enter the house.
So, if you don't want to waste your time standing outside, don't come too
early and rather check out the slopes or stock up on beverages or rent your
gear.
Secondly, after moving in, we'll have some dinner at about 6:30 or 7:00.
After that we'll move over to the so-called Multipurpose
hall/Mehrzweckhalle, which is a separate building belonging to the
Niederstrasser Hof.
I expect this to happen at about 20:00. This is when and where the external
people should show up. You will be able to buy your name tags/tour passes
there in the Multipurpose hall/Mehrzweckhalle from 20:00 onwards.
We'll see how strict the host is with access of externals to the main
building, but we should not try him the first night. Generally internals are
to clear out of the dining hall after dinner and move over to the above
mentioned conference building. Externals cannot take part at dinner or
breakfast, I guess that is self-explaining. Because of this, external name
tags look different (b/w) than those for people staying in the main building
(color).
Please make sure you wear your name tags all the time, so the guys taking
over that job of selling the external tags don't have to run after everybody
all the time. Make it your job to get your name tag and wear it, ok?
At about 20:00 there will be a short welcome message and then we will
proceed with the agenda.
A reminder: several people have offered to bring stuff:
* I would like to have confirmations for at least two beamers.
* We need WLAN equipment and probably also some switch and cables.
* If anyone has a range-extender please bring it.
See you next year :-)
Cheers
Daniel
