Hi folks,
For those that are not subscribed to the marketing list, it might not be
known that a soft and mostly content oriented overhaul of the TYPO3.com
website is under way.
Sander has suggested that we discuss this subject at the tour as well, so
there will be a group of people meeting and discussing the various aspects,
tasks and responsibilities.
This will have to take place on Tuesday night, since Monday is blocked and I
will not be in again until the last night, which is too late.
The preliminary agenda is:
1. status of current project parts:
- TYPO3.com news + content
- demo site + TYPO3Live
- gov.typo.com
- edu.typo3.com
Each is not a presentation, but simply a short summary of work done and work
in progress. Total for this section should be no more than 30 minutes.
2. Discussion of planned TYPO3.com content
- About section, see http://association.typo3.org/wiki/index.php/TYPO3.com
- Other sections
Total: 2 hours
3. round up of suggestions, prioritizing tasks, responsible people
- collection of ideas from the discussion
- rating of which by priorities
- deadlines and responsible people for each priority 1 or 2 item
Total: 20 minutes
Suggestions for the Agenda are welcome.
However, TYPO3.org is not part of this discussion for reasons of time and
scope.
If you want to spend some days next year working to improve TYPO3.com,
please join us. If there is another speech or workshop on simultaneously and
you want to share your ideas, send a mail until the tour to the marketing
list ( or me, I'll fwd it.)
I will add this item to the WIKI part of offers. I guess it is also high
time to round up the offers into an agenda for the week. I'll make a
suggestion (you can still delete it :-).
Cheers
Daniel
